TESC is a test automation program, compatible with EMIC’s computerized test machines, and it presents the following characteristics:
- It allows tests to be systematized, through the elaboration and application of test methods, and verifies the consistency of the results.
- It manages the resulting documentation (reports, charts, methods).
- It sends sufficient information to the EMIC machine, enabling it to perform tests in the reversed sense, in which the program receives information from the machine and converts it into test results.
This software was developed for the Windows operating system, and makes use of the standard API offered by the system. This guarantees a high level of compatibility with the operational system itself, and with other applications that may be running at the same time. In addition to the Windows environment, the minimum configuration that it requires is:
Pentium 500 MHZ, 32 MB RAM, serial port RS-232; 100 MB free hard disk space.
The software TESC has the right resources for the most varied applications. It is easy to be operated when performing conventional tests, and makes use of assistants for the elaboration of test methods, offering advanced programming resources for both the more experienced users, and for those who need to perform special tests using the TEST SCRIPT language.
TESC also offers resources which are found in other conventional software, such as:

- Real time load and displacement digital window
- Graph plotting follow-up window (with the option of graphic scale: Load x Displacement, Load x Time and Displacement x Time)
