EMIC, with its experienced team, made up of specialized professionals, is always looking for new ways to better meet the demands of the national and international markets. The company develops exclusive machines for the destructive mechanical test field, which are essential for quality control, product and material development and research in industries, technical education institutions, research institutes and mechanical test laboratories.

These machines are considered the technological basis for material studies all over the world.
 
EMIC’s production line for the national market consists mainly in the manufacturing of:
  • Electromechanical and computerized Universal Testing Machines for loads up to 1,000 kilonewtons;
  • Electro-hydraulic presses for loads ranging from 200 kN to 3,000 kN;
  • Computerized servo-hydraulic presses for test loads up to 3,000 kN;
  • Charpy and Izod impact devices;
  • Special equipment and testing systems using static and dynamic concepts.
  
 
Our Current Plant
 
EMIC’s current plant allows for the production of a total of 300 testing machines per year. Our new plant and the new production management project, which will soon be operational, will allow for a total of 600 machines per year.
 
EMIC also has departments that perform specialized services, such as:
  • Development of special accessories for EMIC customers;
  • Technical support for installation and maintenance of EMIC’s equipment;
  • Testing machine calibration, with ISO9001:2000 quality, for loads up to 5,000 kN;
  • EMIC equipment retrofitting; also posible for other brands, however that depends on a thorough assessment;
  • EMIC software and equipment programming, and operation training;
  • Special training for representatives and commercial partners.
EMIC’s team works in tune and is used to following strict rules. It is this team that proposes a true democratization in the usage of testing machines. The development and production of high-technology equipment used to be a priviledge of industrialized nations, called the first world. Today Brazil takes pride in EMIC, a company which accepted the challenge to make the name of its country renowned and a symbol of high technology competition.
